Manju Joshi, M.A. (Sanskrit and Yoga, minor in Psychology) Gold medalist, E RYT-500, YACEP, C-IAYT, Holistic Health Coach, MCO-OSTEO, is a master coach/therapist, scholar, a researcher and a Reiki Master who has brought Yoga into Continuing Education Programs in universities, public schools, and health & fitness centers since 1991.

Prashant Joshi M.A., M.Phil, E RYT-500, YACEP, C-IAYT is a computer scientist and an electrical engineer, master coach/therapist and has been an IT Industry management leader for the past 25+ years. He has introduced Yoga-principles in the academic and corporate world at all levels of management. He has brought Yoga to the tennis courts, executive boardrooms, mental health facilities and senior centers. He is an invited motivational speaker and an avid tennis player. 

Both Prashant and Manju Joshi have been ardent students of Yoga since 1984 and have formal Yoga training from various renowned institutions (Vivekananda Kendra, Kaivalyadham) and teachers(Dr. Rao, Ph.D. founder of Lotus wellness center; Padmashree Sadashiv Nimbalkar-ji, founder of Yoga Vidya Niketan) in India and the US. Both have committed their time with various community service activities including sharing the science of Yoga since 1991 in the US and internationally through speaking engagements, writings, workshops, passionate & compassionate teachings and 1:1 consultations.

They founded Gurukul, LLC, A Science Of Living Institution in 2000, serving all ages with Yoga as a therapy. Gurukul's vision is to simplifying and demystify life management, and a mission to serve all ages and create friends of yoga (Yoga-Mitra) bringing harmony, health, and happiness. Gurukul Yoga Holistic Center(GYHC) in Bridgewater, NJ is the result of the organic growth of their efforts and has benefited thousands since May 2006. GYHC has certified over 80 yoga teachers creating livelhood for themselves while serving their communities authentically and affordably. GYHC went through licensing the NJ center with Prashant and Manju moving to Austin, TX in 2013.

Thanks to the Team­@GYHC, GYHC is now an internationally recognized institution, RYS200/300, Yoga Alliance-registered school, as well as IAYT member school promoting Yoga as an evidence-based therapy and was #13 in the world as a supporting member of IAYT. GYHC was inducted into Bridgewater Mayor's wellness campaign in 2008 and has had a positive impact on the community over the past 12+ years in NYC, NJ, TX and globally. New brand and initiative was founded in 2016 (Food Yogini)

Both Prashant (Coach P) and Manju (Coach M) are members of IAYT and life members of Patanjali Yogpeeth (Baba Ramdev, Haridwar, India). They are recipients of the International WellPro award in 2011. Prashant also serves on the Board of ARSI (Charitable Foundation for the Arts & Sciences from India). Prashant and Manju presently live in Austin, Texas with their daughters (Veda - budding psychologist and a certified Yoga Teacher and Illa - vocalist, dancer, Yoga student and a theatre-gal) and as a family they love traveling, singing, standup comedy, theatre, and gourmet vegetarian cooking.
