I have been coming to GYHC for Yoga for over the past couple of years and has helped my overall circulation and healing power among other things. This was very evident recently when I met with a massive Automobile accident and my recovery was great to the amazement of my doctors. I attribute this recovery to my overall sound health and Yoga has been a big part of it....

    Thank you GYHC....

    To Whom It May Concern:

At our office, we have monthly pulmonary support group meetings offering a variety of related health topics.

At our monthly meeting in September, Prashant and Manju of Gurukul spoke to us about the history of yoga, and cleared up any of the patient's misconceptions about yoga.  Breathing exercises for our patients were taught, focusing on their specific needs and demonstrated with clarity.  With their encouragement, the patients enthusiastically participated.

The patients had a great time, and so did I, especially when laugh therapy was introduced turning it into a lot of fun!  Many of the patients commented that it was one of the best groups they’ve attended at our facility, Respicare.

    Dear Prashant and Manju Joshi,

Thank you for your continued support of the Hamilton PTO with your generous donation of 6 free yoga classes benefiting the Bridgewater Raritan High School Scholarship committee.   Your generosity is greatly appreciated.  Looking forward to working with you again in the future.

If you have a bit of stress in life, want to find a simpler way of dealing with life, want to practice classic yoga....come to Gurukul Yoga. Comfort, peace, and harmony is what you feel when yoga is complete. It's a home away from home. I highly recommend yoga with Prashant and Manju.

I have been taking yoga for about 8 years now. I live 40 minutes from work and have a very busy schedule so I was unable to continue taking classes at the studio near my home. I was so excited when the Gurukul Yoga Holistic Center opened up in spring 2006 just around the corner from my job. I started taking one of Manju’s classes and I soon looked forward to every Thursday evening. I would then find out that I was pregnant with my first child and stopped attending the Yoga class. Manju reached out to me because she had not seen me in a while. When she heard the news she was not only excited for me but began teaching a private evening prenatal class for myself and one other woman. Manju was very helpful and supportive throughout my pregnancy and had a lot of wonderful advice for me. I am convinced that her prenatal yoga and words of wisdom were responsible for my quick delivery. I have recently returned back to work and I am still trying to figure out how to balance a baby and a full-time job but I am eager to fit Yoga at the Gurukul Yoga Holistic Center back into my routine.

I want to thank you for bringing Gurukul Yoga to Bridgewater, and tell you I am very grateful for your many contributions to our community as our teachers, neighbors, and friends. Your passion for what you do is quite evident, as you are always professional and knowledgeable, yet friendly - taking a personal interest in every student. I also appreciate the variety of interesting seminars and classes you provide, from Yoga, music, dance to aromatherapy. I have seen many positive changes in my being these past 18 months, especially in regards to women’s health, and I know the credit goes to YOGA. Thank you for improving my quality of life!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Prashant Joshi and Mrs. Manju Joshi for about 10 years. I have known about their strong interest and involvement with Yoga for that period of time. I have had the pleasure of taking Yoga classes with them. I feel that they are excellent teachers.

I was impressed how you managed to keep the attention of very young children and an accompanying adult through the 6-week old session. The children learned their ABC's, a little about Yoga and had lots of fun. I was also impressed how you taught adults and children about health, breath , and relaxation in an easily understood manner.

I’ve been taking Yoga for the last five years and it has become such an important part of my life. My posture and balance are so much better as is my muscle tone and flexibility. Breathing and relaxation exercises have had a very positive effect and I find myself practicing them when things get stressful at work. I’m 60 years old, a cancer survivor and have never felt better. I only wish I had started classes 20 years ago! Manju and Prashant have been wonderful teachers and guides on this exciting journey.
